Having graduated from Istanbul University, Law Faculty in 2014, following his one-year compulsory legal internship, Hakan Arslanbay completed his master studies in Radboud University in the city of Nijmegen, the Netherlands, in the area of International and European Business Law track in 2016. Growing eager interest in competition law since his internship term, after he wrote his master thesis in this area, Arslanbay practiced competition law in leading Turkish companies. Starting his independent career afterwards, Arslanbay successfully managed competition law-oriented processes of many companies and holdings. Apart from compliance services in competition law, Arslanbay also conduct trainings, represents clients before Turkish Competition Authority during on-spot inspections, pre-investigations and investigations conducted by TCA, follows up administrative litigation, carries out and prepares applications to TCA concerning M&As, negative clearances, and exemptions, while also provides preventive consultancy services. Having joined in Aytekin Law family in 2021, Arslanbay is also sworn translator in English and has various articles in many fields of law including competition law.
